“Neither of us felt ambushed. Our therapist kept the pace slow enough that we could finish a sentence.”
Four ways we work
Every service is a conversation with a therapist who stays fair to both of you. Your therapist sets the pace with you, and no number of sessions is promised.

Couples therapy
For partners who keep having the same argument, or who have grown apart. Sessions are 50 or 80 minutes, with both of you in the room and a therapist who keeps it fair. We use Emotionally Focused Therapy (training through ICEEFT) and the Gottman Method (training through The Gottman Institute) to map the cycle between you and practice a different move. This is not individual therapy for one of you, and it is not the right setting if you are afraid of your partner; we would see you separately and help you find support.

Discernment counseling
For partners who are unsure whether to stay, or when one of you is leaning out. It is a short, structured set of sessions to get clear about the choice, with you together and each of you alone. It is not couples therapy, and it does not aim to keep you together or to end things; it helps you decide.
A short, defined set of sessions
Sessions together and one-on-one

Premarital sessions
For partners planning to marry or move in together. Sessions cover money, family, children, roles and how you handle disagreement. We use the Gottman Method, taught by The Gottman Institute, as the outline. It is not a test of whether you should marry, and your therapist will not tell you what to decide.

A few sessions, set with your therapist

Individual sessions
For one partner who wants time of their own about the relationship, alongside couples work or when the other partner is not ready. Sessions are 50 minutes, one-on-one. We draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy and talk through what you want from the work. This is not a way to build a case about your partner, and it is not crisis care.

What clients say about the room

“I expected to be told who was right. She kept asking what the argument meant to each of us.”
Akeem B.“The room felt calm and nobody rushed us. We left each session knowing what to try at home.”
Noor H.“The longer session gave us time to stop, breathe and start again.”
